Cycling – Onimpex to be title Sponsor of National Cross Champs
Onimpex, importers and distributors of some of the most prestigious brands in cycling have agreed a deal as title sponsor to the British Cyclo Cross Championships to be held in Derby on January 8/9th 2011.
The company, based in Warrington, have built a small and desirable portfolio of products including amongst others; top Belgian clothing manufacturer Bio Racer and the innovative ReSkin patch.
“We are extremely excited and proud to be associated with the National Cyclo-Cross Championships,” commented Ken Jones, Managing Director of Onimpex UK, “it’s the first time we have ventured into title sponsorship and we are thrilled that we have been able to ink a deal with a sport so exciting and increasingly popular.”
The explosion in road cycling across Britain and Europe has been mirrored by a huge upsurge in interest in the traditional winter sport of Cyclo-Cross, with thousands rediscovering the delights of fast off-road thrills.
